In November 2018, the Cai Foundation partnered with the Asian Cultural Council (ACC) for its inaugural gala dinner in Hong Kong, offering a half-day visit to Cai Studio as a special auction item. The winning bidder was invited to engage in a private conversation with Cai Guo-Qiang, including a visit to his New York studio and dinner with the artist, which was realized in April 2019. This auction item was donated by the Cai Foundation and The Standard Hotel New York, with all proceeds benefiting ACC’s programs.
