Cai Guo-Qiang collaborated with Avant Arte, a digital platform for young art collectors, on a limited-edition print of his gunpowder painting Yin-Yang Peonies (2019), which was launched on May 1, 2019. The artwork reflects his fascination with Eastern philosophy, spirituality, and cosmology, rendered in a dreamlike print that reveals the smoky traces of a colorful explosion. As a charitable auction, Cai directed all proceeds to the Cai Foundation.
