Proceeds will go to the charitable Cai Foundation, which offers fellowships to emerging artists and supports contemporary art initiatives around the world
Avant Arte is a digital platform for collecting art, which has grown one of the biggest young art communities online [1.3+ mil.], and is cultivating a new generation of art patrons.
Collaborating with Avant Art was a logical step for me as an artist. Their efforts to provide roads into the art world for a young, global audience is comparable with the Foundation I established years ago to support emerging artists around the world; all the proceeds of my edition will be going to this Foundation. The artwork I've made is emblematic of the way I've been working for decades, using gunpowder to ignite unexpected drawings and paintings. It's an abstract work but also speaks to many of the themes I'm drawn to from Eastern and Western culture.
